Colour, Fabric & Style 2013 : Kimberley Seldon

Welcome to the first post in our Colour, Fabric & Style series on Design Wednesday. As mentioned last week, for the next 4 weeks we have some very impressive ladies guest posting on the Blog. Joining us are Kimberley Seldon, Sharon Grech, Carol Reed & Margot Austin to share some of their favorite pics for Colour & Fabric for 2013.

This week we welcome Kimberley Seldon. I met Kimberley a few years back, when I set in motion an initiative to get her Business of Design seminars to Ottawa. All of my hard work paid off, she came and whipped a group of O Town Designers into shape.

I have since spent time with Kimberley at several events, and she truly is an amazing woman.

Welcome Kimberley!

Sonya Says: “Thanks Kimberley, I love how sexy the fabrics are masculine and feminine and full of texture. The sophistication of gold and warm grays are a truly timeless look without feeling dated.”

Donna Says: “Love this colour combination!  Combined with the fabric texture this would give any room a gorgeously glamorous feel!”

Maureen Says: “ou la la…love this glamorous look.”

Lisa Says: “Very sophisticated and that butterscotch grid print is decadent!”

Mary Anne Says:“I love that you painted the ceiling a colour, and didn’t leave it white. The fifth wall!”

Love your choices. In fact, they are the colors and even some of the patterns I chose in my recent living room redo. And while I have not seen it yet I am expecting to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how I can Leo into my living room along with the color “yellow” from the film. Great selections!
